2019 Washington ACP Resident Career Forum

What: An evening devoted to purposefully pulling back the curtains on the recruiting process, hearing from those who have been through it before, learning some keys to evaluating contracts, and taking away a few pearls for early financial stability.
Who should attend: Internal medicine residents (or really anyone else) wanting to understand some of the nuances of finding a great job.
When: Thursday, Sept 12th, 6:00 – 8:30PM

6:00 – 6:30: Social gathering and short introduction to the evening.
6:30 – 7:00: Recruiters will share insights into the recruitment process.
7:00 – 7:30: A panel of practicing physicians will offer advice on searching for your
ideal job.
7:30 – 8:00: An attorney with expertise in employment contracts will offer keys to
evaluating your contract and take questions.
8:00 – 8:15: A financial advisor will share a few pearls to getting started toward
financial stability.
8:15 – 8:30: Evening wrap-up and time for final questions
