Join Gary Forbs, MD FACP and Denise Gour (mindfulplace.com), LCSW, Certified Mindfulness Educator for this live virtual workshop.

Narrative medicine is concerned with the development of competence to recognize, absorb, interpret and be moved by the stories of illness. The workshop will provide an introduction to the subject, with an opportunity to reflect, write, listen and (if one wishes) share thoughts and writing with a small group of peers from somewhere in Washington. Your hosts have completed a course through the Northwest Narrative Medicine Collaborative and can provide information on future offerings through the Community of Practice if you wish to continue on the journey with us.
